First Consultation

What does FIRST Consultation involve?

In the case of a chronic complaint, the patient will be asked about their chief complaint, history of the complaint, medical history, including any previous illnesses or injuries, family history, lifestyle habits, dietary habits, sleep patterns, and emotional state.

It is important for the patient to be open with the doctor during consultation. Homeopathy is based on the principle of treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, so a complete understanding of the patient’s current symptoms and experiences is essential for selecting the appropriate medicine.

For chronic conditions, the first homeopathic consultation usually lasts between 60-90 minutes. The consultation process is tailored to identify the best remedy for each patient’s unique needs.

In the case of acute conditions, the patient will be asked a series of questions pertaining to the presenting complaint such as location, intensity, and character of the symptoms, as well as any factors that make the symptoms better or worse. They may also be asked about their medical history, including any previous acute illnesses or injuries.

The consultation time may range from 15 to 30 minutes depending on the severity of the condition. It is important for the patient to be as specific and detailed as possible when describing their symptoms. This will help to identify the most appropriate medicine for the patient’s acute condition.

Follow-up Consultation

For chronic conditions, follow-up consultations are typically held bi-weekly to evaluate the chief complaint and determine the progress of the treatment. During the course of treatment, patients may also receive e-mail and WhatsApp assistance during business hours to provide additional support.

For acute conditions, follow-up consultations can range from hourly follow-ups to daily follow-ups.
